PVDM6-40/500 Display: Solar Display Module 500A Load Shunt with 6 Digital Readings

Product Description

**The PVDM6 display units are only compatible with the PVCM-40D charge controller (A0348).  They ARE NOT interchangeable with other parts from other kits.**

The PVDM6-40/500 is a high quality brushed aluminum face plate with a 500A Load Shunt that has 6 Digital Readings.  It is ideally suited for RV and trailer applications where the charge controller is mounted near the batteries and the remote display is mounted in the living area.  A standard Ethernet Cat 5 Cable connects the controller and display rather than large battery cables.

The PVDM6’s normal display indication is battery voltage and its associated LED. The select button allows the user to turn on the displays back-light, advance to the next display setting, reset the solar and battery amp hour accumulators, lock display or current setting, or activate scroll mode. The PVDM6 will automatically switch back to the battery voltage display setting after 4 minutes unless the display setting lock is activated. The back-light will come on for 15 seconds any time the select button is pushed and will stay on continuously in scroll mode.

SOLD SEPERATELY:  The 500 Amp load shunt (A0225) is REQUIRED for the PVDM6-40/500 Display to show the battery load Amps and battery Amp hours.

The 500 Amp shunt connects to the PVCM40D’s external load shunt input (A0348).

The PVDM6-40/100 is also available for a 100 Amp load shunt.   See PVDM6-40/100 (A0267).
